MainStay Suites Middleburg Heights Cleveland Airport

I am not one who writes reviews but i found it necessary to review this hotel that has been my home away from home. I am in town often to work for long periods. Mostly for 2 to 3 months on each visit and this place has gone beyond my expectation in terms of safety, customer service, location, Room furnishing and more. Safety is100% i feel very safe here. Location is in a safe and quite neighborhood with nice restaurants and amenities all a stone throw away . This hotel is clean and the customer service is top notch. All my needs have always been promptly met by the well trained and always smiling staff. The furnishing is well maintained and everything works. They have a fully equipped kitchen with stove, oven, refrigerator, cookware and utensils. The beds are very comfortable and i always look forward to a good night sleep . Room service is always available to clean and stock up on towels, napkins, soap. I would recommend this hotel for any traveler who values safety, customer service and of cause a clean room and a comfortable bed. And they are also pet friendly. I will definitely be staying here anytime i am in town.

We came, we stayed, we slept, and we left. The check-in was easy and fast. The room was clean and orderly. Hello it's an older property if you want brand new then pay the price and stay at a new place. This hotel is clean and quiet we will stay again.

I had an awesome time at this hotel! I know some folks had some not-so-great experiences, but I’m not gonna go into those details. I can only tell you about my own. When I got there, I found my room spotless and my AC was working like a charm. The bed was super comfy, and the service was top-notch. It’s not often you find a hotel that’s so affordable and has a kitchenette. I highly recommend this place, and I think some of the complaints were just bad luck. But hey, bad things can happen anywhere, right? But I don’t think that’ll be the case most of the time here.

COCKROACHES!!! I got up at 1am to get a drink of water and cockroaches were RUNNING EVERYWHERE!! I was shocked and didn’t know what to do so I grabbed my glass cup and TRAPPED ONE! I packed my things immediately and ran to the front desk to check out!! The front desk guy said “I see the cockroaches all the time but I am not allowed to say anything about it!!” They said the manager was not in and they would not contact them. To wait until morning. I called again two times they would not let me speak to the manager.. they called me back and said they ‘took out all of the appliances out and checked the room’ and ‘they saw no cockroaches’ I asked them 3 times ‘WHERE IS THE COCKROACH I TRAPPED IN A GLASS CUP ON THE COUNTER THEN! Where is the GLASS with ROACHES IN IT!??” They would not answer me at all and said they refused to refund the hotel stay (which was booked at 7 and left at 1am because MASSIVE ROACHES FOUND WHEN I TURNED ON THE LIGHT AT 1Am and the roaches where EVERYWHERE) THEY ARE NASTY AND HAVE HORRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES!! The manager refused speak to me and now I have contacted my bank and going to contact everyone I know. If you want roaches.. in your luggage and clothes and bed and food to take as a parting gift into your car and home and life after your stay.. they are apparently complementary at this hotel. Worst experience ever!! (I have video of the roaches and the front desk clerk from the night admitting it but it only allowed me to upload a picture at this time)

I enjoyed the stay here. I am moving from California to Florida and I originally went to the Extended Stay in Independence and they wanted $668 for a week. Then wanted an extra $30 a day for my dog with a deposit brought my total up to just under $1,000. So I walked out and left, I found the Mainstay which was $450 for the week and a one time $75 fee for my dog. They're in a decent area close to the highway and priced very very reasonably. My only constructive criticism would be that the rooms could have been a little cleaner and some basic maintenance issues taken care of. I'm 6'6 and could see in the cabinets and the hair left on the ceiling in the shower. But I would definitely here again if I was in the area.

This is one of the best Choice properties ive stayed at. My room was great. Clean had all amenities listed has a full kitchen with pots pans and dishes. The bed and pillows were comfy. No creepy crawlies at all. I stayed 2 nights. Great location. Safe parking lot. Inside is quiet and clean. As a woman traveling alone I Would deff stay here again. Doors are all locked you need a key to get inside. 5 out of 5 stars !

Nicest place i have stayed in a while. The staff is so nice and welcoming. They have went out of there way to keep the sidewalks and parking lot clear and salted. They have worked even harder to clear and sweep up that terrible salt that follows us all into the hallways. I would highly recommend staying here!!!!!!!

This hotel is a great deal for the price. The room I had was large and had a small kitchen with a large fridge, microwave, stove and even a dishwasher. Everything was clean and in good working condition. Bed sheets were clean and the mattress very comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and instant hot water. The desk was decent sized as well. Plenty of easy parking. The location is very close to many restaurants and even an Aldi was super close. Really overall a great experience. The only thing a little annoying was the constant freeway noise. It's right next to an onramp where vehicles accelerate and are extra noisy.
